Many believe that the world is going to end in 2012. We had a movie too made in this regard. But barely weeks after a movie on social networking site Facebook was released, we are inundated with rumors of Facebook end as early as March 15.



But there doesn’t seem to be any truth in it as the social networking site is going places and has just got around five hundred million dollars fund infusion from Goldman and another Russian investment group.

This will allow Facebook to pursue acquisition and acquisition in a far better way than anyone can anticipate right now.

With more than five hundred million active users the networking site is sure to touch further heights of success in the days to come.
  
A recent article in the Independent newspaper says that instead of going Myspace way, Facebook is set to become an integral part of our lives and may become as much or even more omnipresent than Google is right now in the days to come.
