So much cash stashed at home that fingers get tired while counting! Who wouldn’t want to live that life! The truth is that small business and maybe some households do have that kind of money, and the big counting machines currently available are inconvenient. So the solution lies in a compact Counting Ring, a simplified money counting machine. It packs in features like LED Display & Power Switch, Sheet-Separating Veins, Battery Slot and Infrared Ray Scanning. Slip it on the thumb and you’re set. My only worry would be a bundle of soiled and crumpled notes, however overall for a majority of cash-stash, this should do.

Next Generation Concept Computer of Sony

The designer Hiromi Kiriki designed the next generation concept for Sony, as a brand new concept, it broke the traditional computer form, it could be worn on the wrist as a bracelet. It can let users surf the internet rapidly with its flexible OLED touch display screen plus holographic projector and pulling keyboard. The designer imagines that it would be on sale in 2010.

HumVee Evo amphibious vehicle runs on fuel cells

Visualizing the future of all terrain vehicles (ATVs), Italian designer Matteo Carniato has developed a vehicle concept dubbed the “HumVee Evo” that runs on fuel cells to allow sustainable commutation in the days to come. An advanced version of Hummer, the futuristic ATV includes waterproof chassis to put it in the class of an amphibious vehicle, enabling it to cross deep rivers or other water bodies with ease. Locating the suspension within the wheels to make it highly functional, the HumVee moves on four turnable wheels to allow sharp turns or curves on rough and bumpy terrains. Featuring a body made in a light/strong and flexible material, the all terrain vehicle gives access through its roof that slides to rise at the rear while popping up the lateral steps from the side.

Designers Jin-Sun Park and Seon-keun Park come with a great solution of these problems called Maptor. Maptor is a compact and stylish concept that combines a map and a projector that will project the desired map onto whatever surface – table, wall or even your palm. What is more, this device includes GSM that will help you to define your precise location on the map..
The concept seems to be likely to make it to the market and to become a real hit. [via]

You would think a company that sells US$200,000+ supercars would have no need to hawk merchandise, but apparently not. Along with the expected assortment of watches, polo shirts and key rings is this US$331.40 racing helmet. You’re sure to look dapper when cruising around in your dilapidated ’89 Mondial cabriolet 250 Testa Rossa in this fine helmet made of satin-finish aluminium, metalised thermoplastic and genuine leather.
